You will soon notice a difference in the appearance of Biotin Plus and BioMax.  Like all of you, we are impacted by sky rocketing  costs,  yet we are committed to maintaining our current prices.

There are several factors influencing our costs:  First, the price of biotin itself has more than doubled since February of this year. Secondly, oilseed crops are being consumed in ethanol production and the subsidies to independent ethanol producers, causing the cost of linseed to more than double; and thirdly, the price of plastic containers is linked to escalating petroleum costs, making the price of plastic pails subject to frequent  increases. Lastly, freight costs are up almost 40%, including fuel surcharges imposed by the carriers.

To keep our prices down without compromising the quality which you have come to expect from Equilife Products and Paragon Performance Products, we are re-proportioning three of our base materials which are linseed meal, wheat germ and rice bran.  They will now be in equal proportions, where linseed was the major base material.  This change guarantees that Biotin Plus and BioMax will continue to deliver the effectiveness you demand in a premium supplement.

In the near future we will also be changing to eco-friendly packaging for our 2.5 and 5 pound containers, which will both help secure our pricing, and reduce our “footprint” on this planet.
